QUICKQ FOR BEGINNERS

How do you use QuickQ? Let's walk through it

Don't let the three letters scare you — a VPN is just: install, sign in, pick a node, press the button. Here's what to tap during setup and what to try when things don't cooperate.

Quick answer: Using QuickQ is four moves: install the client from the download page, sign in with your membership account, let the smart recommendation pick a node, and hit connect. Two minutes, start to finish — and new users get a free trial first.

From zero to connected

01

Install the client

Check your system, grab the matching version from the official page, and you'll be installed before your coffee cools. Skip anything called a mirror on third-party sites.

02

Open QuickQ and sign in. Forgot your password? The sign-in screen has a recovery option. No membership yet? Use the free trial first and decide later.

03

Pick a node

Beginners can skip this entirely — the smart recommendation handles it. Want a specific region's content? Pick it manually. Switch between smart routing and privacy mode as your scenario changes.

04

Hit connect

When you see connected, you're done. Turn on launch-at-startup and you'll be online the moment your device boots — no daily button-hunting.

Which pop-up to tap on each device

Windows

Double-click the installer and keep clicking Next. When Windows asks about network adapter changes, click Allow — the QuickQ icon lands on your desktop.

macOS

Drag QuickQ into Applications and you're installed. If macOS blocks the first launch, go to System Settings › Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway, then allow the VPN configuration.

iPhone / iPad

The first connection asks to add a VPN profile — tap Allow, enter your device passcode, done.

Android

Grant the VPN permission when the dialog pops up. On a few models, peek at Settings › Connections to confirm the VPN state.

Won't connect? Try these first

Says connected, but pages won't load?

Try a different node and refresh. Still nothing? Clear the browser cache or switch browsers — some sites are picky about regions, and a new node usually fixes it.

Account won't sign in?

Check for typos in your password and that your network is up. Then confirm your membership hasn't expired and the client is current.

Feels slower than advertised?

Let the smart recommendation do the picking. At peak hours, don't camp on one node — smart routing automatically finds steadier paths.

Stuck on "connecting…"?

Toggle between smart routing and privacy mode, restart the app and the device. And glance at your system clock — an off clock can quietly break secure connections.

Tried everything and still stuck?

Run the checklist: different node → system clock → network permissions. Still no luck? Browse the FAQ or just ask support.
